    (READS Building)

READS was established in 1987 by Dr. Ganga R. Singh Speech Pathologist Audiologist working in S.M.S. Hospital Jaipur. As there was no special school for hearing impaired children Mrs. Singh started Monsoon Anubodh School in a rented 2 room’s apartment in Bapu Nagar Jaipur. From then we now have 4 schools for underprivileged hearing impaired children. Monsoon Anubodh School has a new building which was donated by the Monsoon Trust U.K. We have 45 Hearing Impaired Children in the school, all the staff members are trained special educators. We have integrated till date 150 children in normal schools. Rajasthan had no training programme for teachers of the deaf therefore there was a dearth of trained staff to teach The Hearing Impaired Children.

READS has adequate infrastructure to facilitate its students.

    CARIONA MAlR BERA CENTRE :

With this instrument we can detect the hearing loss of newly born babies, which helps in early identifications. It was parents of late Cariona Mair thought ful kind gesture that enabled us to procure this machine which was out of reach for the society because of high price of the model with latest techniques. The society deeply regrets the child's death on Delhi-Jaipur highway road accident and offers humble prayers & condolence to the bereaved parents. The differential cost of the machine was met by the donation of Monsoon Trust. Equipped with this Bera Machine the diagnostic centre offers the following facilities.
